Engineering manager : process, electrical, instrumentation, mecanicien

We are urgently looking for a Field Engineering Manager for a Power Plant.


The resource will be the site interface with Home Office Engineering, and he will be responsible for ensuring technical support to construction activities through the Field Engineering Team.

The Field Engineering Manager will lead a dedicated group of Discipline Field Engineers to perform site technical services and engineering follow-up.

He will report to the Site Manager and cooperate with the Construction Manager in verifying the feasibility of the construction schedule based on the actual availability at the site of technical documentation and materials.


Duties and Responsibilities:


* He/She is responsible for the checking and the correct management of the overall Engineering Project documentation, of any amendments and/or additions to the same, and the final “as-built” preparation to be returned to H.O. Engineering;
* Ensure any addition or change to the technical documents according to Field requirements and he is responsible for reviewing of site technical queries;
* He/She is responsible for the issuing of any specific construction document required for the execution of activities;
* Support the Construction Manager and the Construction Team on constructability studies and project planning and scheduling;
* Provide assistance to Construction Management/Supervision Team for turnover/hand over documentation at Project completion phase.


Requirements


* Minimum 7-10 years experience on industrial construction EPC
* Advance knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment, design, and overall engineering and company standards required
* Good knowledge of English and French
* Availability to work on-site
