To lead and execute NDT data analysis, drive improvements in NDT scanning and analysis towards securing ZERO defect escapement to customers and eliminate over processing.

Job Description
Competency Development & Resource Adequacy:
* Develop training materials and samples for classroom and practical trainings.
* Plan, execute, and monitor trainings for NDT level 1 and 2 certifications in the plant, ensuring sufficient certified personnel.
* Maintain skill matrix of quality staff as per competency model.
* Track certification database and ensure only certified resources perform inspections.
* Improve certification processes to be leaner and more effective.
* Focus on enhancing the competence level of NDT technicians for workforce flexibility.
Measurement and Inspection Methods:
* Reduce variation between NDT reviewers through periodic training and assessments.
* Support development of new NDT methods and tooling.
* Update and improve NDT processes and methods regularly.
* Implement Poka-Yoke solutions in inspection and measurement processes.
* Execute new inspection methods, geometrical verification, and new technologies after engineering development.
* Drive improvements in existing NDT methods to make processes leaner and more effective.
* Lead tactical projects aligned with strategic plans.
Quality Compliance
* Proactively ensure process compliance before failures occur.
* Plan and conduct process audits, personnel reviews, and data analysis periodically.
* Monitor inspection effectiveness, support root cause analysis and CAPA closure.
* Improve audit processes to be lean and effective.
* Follow up on audit findings and implement improvements.
* Enhance BMS processes and tools related to audits.
* Perform RCA for recurring defects to improve product quality.
Operational process and support:
* Perform accurate NDT data analysis to ensure zero defect and over processing.
* Provide timely analysis support and feedback to plants.
* Improve scanning methods and data quality.
* Assist plant NDT resources in eliminating rescanning (First Time Right scan).
* Monitor KPIs and ensure performance levels are maintained.
* Keep operational quality records updated.
* Establish baseline for NDT activities and improve tools and equipment.
* Support technology projects, new product launches, and quality issues from a technical perspective.
* Track and improve gauge R&R performance in plants.
* Ensure effective calibration processes.
* Train and implement new AC procedures.
* Optimize inspection frequency based on SPC analysis.
* Support daily operational challenges in manufacturing plants.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, with 7-14 years of experience in Quality.
* Certified UT level 2 in conventional and advanced Phased Array methods; UT level 3 certification is a plus.
* Certified IR inspection method.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in blade manufacturing with UT inspections.
* International experience and cultural awareness in Americas, Europe, India, and China.
* Knowledge of blade manufacturing and quality tools, systems, audits, Six Sigma, PFMEA, control plans, PPAP.
* Strong English skills (verbal and written).
* ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification and audit experience are preferred.
* Willingness to travel across LM business units for training and operational support.
* Flexibility to work in shifts to support global manufacturing.
