Job Description Summary JOB PURPOSE Based on the activities assigned by his or her superiors, the itinerant mechanic carries out workin the workshop and on the road, and carries out repairs and maintenance on equipment. Job Description SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES Interventions - Draw up lists of parts needed to complete the work - Prepare work (parts, consumables, tools, etc.) - Perform a risk analysis prior to intervention - Carry out simple preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment in the workshop or on the road (overhauls, repairs, etc.) based on maintenance plans and operating procedures - Ensure that equipment is in good working order after intervention - Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, etc.) - Occasionally provide back-up on another perimeter (geographical, sector, activity, etc.) - Indicate opportunities for additional interventions in the business tool - Complete the various documents and business tools relating to operations (reports, hours worked, logbooks, etc.) - Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.) RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION - Ensure the quality and timeliness of workshop and roadside interventions - Ensure compliance of workstations and tools (vehicle, tools, etc.) - Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, working alone, etc.) - Know and strictly apply the rules of the customer's risk prevention plan - Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.) - Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules - Perform on-call duties as required PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE Diploma(s) and/or experience(s) Vocational baccalaureate to Bac 2 in maintenance, mechanics or electrical engineering or significant experience preferred Specific knowledge(s) Technical skill(s) - Knowledge professional in the field technical (mechanical, electrical electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.) - Professional knowledge of products (ranges, functions, etc.) - General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations - Basic knowledge of IT tools and information systems Behavioral skill(s) - Interpersonal skills - Autonomy - Organizational skills - Rigor - Adaptability - Responsiveness
