Mission Description

Within the engineering quality group, a cross-functional entity supporting electronic, software, mechanical, and optical development at SAFRAN Electronics & Defense, you will work within the team dedicated to monitoring the development of cards, FPGAs, and critical software. With curiosity about the product and strong interpersonal skills, you will serve as the quality support for electronic and software project teams to ensure compliance demonstrations of our developments to customer requirements and applicable standards. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Defining and adjusting the quality program according to project constraints and product environment;
2. Supporting/coaching teams on engineering processes and ensuring their application;
3. Driving the identification of improvement areas and addressing process/product issues;
4. Ensuring effective communication with our clients' quality entities and authorities.

We are looking for candidates with experience in electronic and/or software development or quality engineering, eager to continue building their skills. In this decision-making, responsible role, you will develop:

* Your technical knowledge in software and electronics engineering;
* Your transversal vision of products and SAFRAN's organization.

Preferred skills and experiences include:

* Knowledge of standards such as DO-178, DO-254, ARP-4754, IEC 12207, IEC 61508, and related aerospace certifications;
* Experience with tools like CM Synergy and Change Synergy, GIT, Redmine, SVN, JIRA, Doors, Reqtify;
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C, ADA, Verilog, VHDL.
