Mechanical engineer

Requirements:

* At least 8 years of working experience in equipment maintenance and repair within the chemical industry, and able to accept long-term work in Pont-De-Claix;
* Familiar with the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment such as pumps, fans, vacuum equipment, and agitators, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and solve problems;
* Familiar with French laws and regulations regarding mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, pressure pipelines, safety valves, hoses, etc. in the chemical industry;
* Possess experience in the construction and management of new engineering projects in the chemical industry;
* Capable of formulating equipment inspection and maintenance plans, organizing contractors for daily maintenance, and managing contractors;
* Understand the maintenance and repair of static equipment, pipelines, and valves in the chemical industry, as well as the management of spare parts;
* Possess basic English communication skills, strong organizational, planning, and execution abilities, and good communication and coordination skills;
* Proficient in using SAP software system, especially the PM system;
* Adhere to company rules and regulations, and meet the quality and timeliness expectations of assigned tasks;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, completing assigned tasks with reasonable support.


Job description:

* Be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of all rotating equipment in the designated area, troubleshoot rotating equipment failures, and ensure the reliability and stability of the unit operation;
* Be responsible for the daily management of safety, tools, and 5S in the maintenance workshop;
* Preparation of equipment inspection plan, lubrication plan, maintenance plan, turnaround plan and turnaround plan, organization of turnaround task and technical transformation construction and allocation of contractor resources, conduct evaluation and acceptance of maintenance services;
* Management of technical files such as rotating equipment data, ledgers, problem records, etc.;
* Formulate the rotating equipment overhaul plan, and report, collect, store and use management of spare parts;
* Assist the maintenance manager in formulating the equipment maintenance cost budget and conducting usage analysis;
* Assist in completing the periodic inspection of pressure vessels, pressure pipelines, safety valves, hoses, mechanical equipment, etc., within the responsible area, and rectify problems to ensure that the production unit complies with legal and regulatory requirements;
* Assist in completing the maintenance and repair of static equipment, pipelines, valves, seals, etc., within the responsible area;
* Assist in related work such as equipment procurement, installation, acceptance, and commissioning during the technical transformation process;
* Assist the Maintenance Manager in completing the negotiation of various maintenance contracts;
* Complete other temporary tasks assigned by the maintenance manager.
