As part of its growth and expansion in the DACH region, our client is strengthening its Sales team and is seeking a DACH Sales Director to drive market development and capture new business opportunities in Germany. You will be the first local hire in the region, responsible for promoting the company's solutions, building strong relationships, and establishing a solid presence in the market.
As DACH Sales Director, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and driving new business in the region.
Your responsibilities include:
Market Development & Visibility
Promote the company's solutions and increase awareness of its value proposition in the DACH region.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and other public forums to enhance brand visibility.
Business Development & Sales Management
Own the regional sales targets and generate new business by managing the full sales cycle, with a strong focus on prospecting and high-quality networking.
Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers and market influencers, including consulting firms and software partners.
Strategy & Market Insight
Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to go-to-market strategies, including defining target accounts, providing product feedback, prioritizing channels, and sharing client success stories.
Develop deep expertise in the company's solutions and the broader Supply Chain software market to advise clients effectively.
Fluency in German and English is required.
8+ years of experience in complex B2B enterprise sales, preferably in a SaaS environment. Experience in Supply Chain is a plus, or at least a strong genuine interest.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding high annual quotas; you thrive on challenge and go the extra mile to close deals.
Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies for managing complex, long-cycle sales.
Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and senior decision-makers in large organizations, negotiating complex enterprise agreements.
Experience selling across multiple business areas such as IT, transportation, procurement, logistics, and operations.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and strategically develop new markets.
