Duties And Responsibilities
You will join the Transport Hardware team located in Lannion. The Hardware team designs and supports Hardware development for high-speed and high-capacity optical transport for metro regional and long-haul applications. You will play a role in the design of complex platforms. You will have responsibilities for developing, debugging and testing hardware modules for our WDM/DCI hardware portfolio such as transponders, optical amplifiers, ROADMs, aggregators...
Profile: 10+ years of experience in Electronics design
Key Skills
* Strong knowledge in analog, digital and RF design :
o Programmable devices architecture (FPGA, Eth. switch Processor,...)
o Serial interfaces design (I2C, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, SERDES...)
o Power distribution (DC/DC converter, LDO...)
o Clocking system (PLL, VCXO...)
* Experienced with high-speed PCB design (>20Gb, Microstrip, Stripline, Coplanar...)
* Strong skill in CAD system (Schematic, Simulation, constraint management...). Knowledge of Mentor Xpedition tools would be appreciated.
* Good knowledge in test bench setup (Oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, BERT...) and used to develop Python scripts for test automation.
* Good understanding in Telecom and Datacom standards (SONET/SDH, Ethernet, OTN, Fiber channel...) and in telecom optical subsystems (QSFPs, optical amplifiers, ..).
* English: intermediate level
* Good team player
* You are autonomous and self-learning
* You are continuously looking for improvement and you make proposals and alerts
