As part of EQUANS’ journey to become an autonomous organization, we are building a new IT Operating model, in which we will be working as a global organization to deliver some of our core IT components. As a group we have defined a number of Shared Line of Service which will deliver services globally across all business units.

The information systems department is strengthening its teams and is looking for a Network Architect

As a Network Architect you will participate in the construction of the Global Shared Line infrastructure will be delivering services on network and cloud.

Challenges and missions of the position :



Purpose of the Job:



Network Architect is a key role in the SLS (Shared Line Services).

The SLS network infrastructure is intended to operate the central network infrastructure but also for all the customer BUs in the world.

The Network Architect will report to the Network Director.



The Network Architect will be responsible for



* Provide group guidelines and network architecture for cloud solutions.
* Design/build solutions including validation around project work.
* Implement strategic network infrastructure/architecture.
* Define third party access guidelines and network audit.
* Have to be ready to share their experience.
* Technical expert responsible for the technical architecture of Network and Telecoms infrastructure.
* Technical expert responsible for LAN/WAN/Telecoms developments and projects and their successful delivery

Responsible for solution design and build in line with the wider enterprise architecture



Main activities



* Collaborate with group technology teams and actively contribute to group technology steering and solution development.
* Develop the target architecture (cloud interconnexion, isolation guidelines…)
* Oversee the implementation of the target architecture.
* Provide assurance on design, architecture and planning for technical solutions.
* Define network audit & compliance guidelines.
* Ensure technical knowledge remains consistent with latest industry trends.
* Contribute to relevant project documentation .
* Raise and escalate risk and issue as soon as they become apparent. Propose plan to mitigate them.

Who are we looking for? :

Extensive experience in a corporate environment – 5 years plus
