KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE
Positioned at the intersection of sales and finance, this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication across diverse stakeholders — including the MG dealer network, field teams, financial partners, internal departments, and Management. The Sales Operation and Incentive Officer plays a vital role in managing incentive programs and budgets to drive performance and ensure financial accuracy.
Your main responsibility will focus on the following missions:
* Manage the sales incentive budget and conduct monthly forecasts to ensure efficient resource allocation.
* Monitor and optimize incentive programs (rules, criteria, policy changes…) to drive sales performance in coordination with internal stakeholders.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of incentive payments to MG dealers or partners according to yearly and quarterly sales policies defined by SMF, including the management of claims and follow-ups.
* Promptly report outstanding issues to management regarding payments or special payment requests of dealers or sales department.
* Prepare and validate performance and results calculations for dealer payments, build the final payment file to be cross-checked by the Finance team, and handle payment requests via internal systems.
* Generate detailed reporting and performance dashboards to be analyzed by the management team (KPIs, incentive trends, cost evolution…).
* Define, communicate, and oversee the application of the price protection policy.
* Analyze business and financial data to deliver strategic recommendations to management.
* Support the sales team by organizing internal meetings, sharing market insights, and contributing to the improvement of internal processes.
* Participate actively in the automation of incentive control processes.
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
* Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the automotive sector.
* Strong ability to analyze sales and financial data (ideally commercial and incentive programs in the automotive sector).
* Experience in managing full-cycle budgets and monthly financial revisions.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and proficient in Salesforce, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools.
* Excellent communication with high negotiation capabilities.
* Fluent in both French and English.
* Valid driving licence.
