Job Description


IT & Software - Category Expertise

1. Own & propose category strategy for Software & IT categories
2. Develop and support sourcing strategy for Software & IT.
3. Ease, formulate and deliver the category strategy, the understanding of drivers, market forces, SWOT
4. Support category knowledge to grow procurement offers and drive category expertise


IT & Software - Suppliers management & market Knowledge

1. Manage International Software & IT contracts
2. Secure sustainable partnership with strategic suppliers
3. Accountable for category suppliers' management (Governance & Business Review)
4. Secure supplier selection processes with RFI / RFQ
5. Ensure the best conditions in the market
6. Ease business & market intelligence


Spend & Budget

1. Control spend of Software & IT and deliver savings as per plan
2. Responsible for the budget achievement and for cost optimization (cost out & savings)
3. Manage remuneration processes
4. Crunch data


Software & IT - Support Category Visibility

1. Support and actively promote the Group procurement functions for indirect procurement
2. Develop category communities for Software & IT
3. Align category strategy with BDT
4. Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders to drive the overall strategy
5. Engage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholders
6. Able to sell solutions internally, but also to external customers
7. Ease & support the IT savings targets with managing from A to Z projects


Coordination of transversal projects

1. Participation in projects for Sustainability & ESG
2. Inflation/Deflation reporting and tracking
3. Identify and implement solution to increase capture rate for direct procurement
4. Track KPIs implementation to monitor category performance & adoption
5. Report & follow remuneration processes (declaration, budget, forecasts, payments, etc.)


Qualifications

As Senior Category Manager you should:

1. Demonstrate agility & resilience to changes
2. Be able to deal with Direct & Indirect procurement for Software & IT
3. Lead at an international level the Guest Technologies portfolio (suppliers, hotels, customers)
4. Maintain and improve global performance (Contract, data, savings)
5. Be able to develop the relationship with all brands and customers to increase compliance
6. Develop leadership with internal/external customers to satisfy their expectations by increasing business opportunities worldwide
7. Position is international, and requires to deal with many international stakeholders
8. Manage market uncertainty

In addition, as the right candidate, you should have the below requested formation & experience:

1. At least 5 years experience indirect & direct procurement with an international background
2. Relevant work experience in negotiation
3. Proven track record as a category manager & Buyer
4. Awareness in distribution, BtB, or BtC, E-commerce
5. Contract management
6. Experience in required categories
7. Hospitality experience is a plus

Last but not the least, the candidate should have:

1. Ability to listen & understand to customer's needs (stakeholders & hotels) in order to drive GT portfolio
2. Able to work in international environment
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills
4. Influencing skills & ease flexibility in approach between different stakeholders
5. Personal integrity and strong work ethics
6. Required language skills: Fluent English (Daily working language), French will be a plus and any others.
