Walker Cole International is searching for a French-Speaking Process Engineer to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing client on a 9–12 month contract, beginning January 2026. This position is fully onsite, and all expenses will be covered. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting both upstream and downstream activities on a live production line.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing day-to-day engineering support for a commercial bioprocess production line.
* Troubleshooting process deviations and supporting investigations to maintain consistent batch performance.
* Executing and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across upstream (cell culture/fermentation) and downstream (purification/filtration/chromatography) operations.
* Supporting technology transfer, validation, and process readiness activities.
* Collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, QC, MSAT, and Automation teams to ensure compliant operations.
* Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, reports, and process optimisations.
The successful candidate will have:
* Professional proficiency in French (spoken and written).
* Experience as a Process Engineer in a biopharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
* Strong technical background in both upstream and downstream bioprocess engineering.
* Ability to work onsite full-time for the duration of the contract.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced GMP environment.
