For one of our client, a trading company based in MONACO we are looking for a TRADE FINANCE SPECIALIST
As a Trade Finance Specialist (Senior level), you will manage processes related to letters of credit (LCs) and collaborate directly with banks.
Your role will ensure that all trade transactions are executed smoothly and in compliance with established terms and regulations, minimizing financial risks for the company.
You will work closely with the trading offices in Geneva and Dubai, where we generate profits. Additionally, you will be responsible for opening credit lines with European banks to secure financing for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Document Preparation and Verification: Prepare and verify documents related to letters
of credit, such as invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.
• Bank Collaboration: Maintain relationships with banks to open, modify, and close letters
of credit. Negotiate financing terms and credit lines with European banks.
• Transaction Monitoring: Track the status of trade transactions and ensure timely flow of
documents. Resolve issues related to document discrepancies or payment delays.
• Risk Analysis: Assess risks associated with trade transactions and recommend mitigating
measures. Monitor changes in international trade and finance regulations.
• Support Trading Department: Collaborate with the trading department to optimize
financial and trade processes. Provide advice on best practices related to trade finance.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on the status of letters of credit, financial flows, and risks
associated with transactions.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade finance, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in trade finance software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced knowledge of international trade regulations (e.g., UCP 600).
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
Yearly gross salary ( MC base) 70-80K eur
