We are building a team of ‘Mass Spectrometry Service Experts’ - technicians and scientists - who will be responsible for the customer support of our new Mass Spectrometry analyzer. This international team will do the cross-country support remotely and on-site in Europe and Middle East. Do you feel the passion, and would you like to be part of this new exciting journey?
Purpose:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Expert with mass spectrometry (MS) experience and/or liquid chromatography (LC) knowledge to join our international team. As an Application Expert, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cross-border support to our customers in hospitals and commercial laboratories and to our field service colleagues in Europe and the Middle East. This role involves remote- and on-site service activities including handling inquiries, troubleshooting failures, conducting trainings, and ensuring information and knowledge transfer.
Main Responsibilities:
* You will handle customer and staff inquiries through phone, digital tools, and written communication.
* You will identify and troubleshoot failures remotely and manage complex complaints.
* You conduct customer and staff training on the new Roche Mass Spec analyzer.
* You support product updates, launches and monitoring.
* You perform different on-site service activities (e.g. installations, maintenances and modifications) and troubleshoot complex failures
Who you are:
* Bachelor's/Master's Degree in natural sciences (e.g., biology, chemistry)
* Extended experience in the medical or technical environment, with focus on quantitative mass spectrometry and / or liquid chromatography
* Strong application knowledge in medical analysis systems and quality assurance; IT knowledge (connections and network) and engineering experience are appreciable
* Excellent communication capability and ability to work effectively in an intercultural team environment; high conflict resolution skills
* Proficiency in building productive customer relationships within a complex matrix environment
* Proficient/advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
* Flexible approach to work and travel to and around Europe and the Middle East, based on European working hours
Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
You are based in our Regional Customer Support Center in Meylan (France).
