Key accountabilities

Bill of materials (BOM) Controlling, Project Reviews, Bridge development, Saving/Risk Management

1. Ensure the correct and proper Manufacturing Bill of Materials financials validation to support the EAC (Estimate at Completion) of each project
2. Able to explain by root cause and line by line the gap of the BOM
3. Ensure coherence between BOM used as validation base for Project EAC and Financials Actual + TO BE Engaged
4. Monthly Review of BOM evolutions by Sub-system/material category/Supplier
5. Monthly Analysis of Actual Cost incurred and compare with the Forecast and analysing the Gaps.
6. Manage correctly Risk, Saving and Opportunities
7. Identify cost saving opportunities and prevent and alert of any deviance vs budget and forecasts
8. Monitor the Extra Cost of the project which are subject to claim and have regular meetings with the Sourcing Department to follow up.
9. Provides all WP financial reporting and benchmark by products family: average cost, CONQ evolution, Cost by Unit
10. Review and validate QCD performance vs commitment for WP to be delivered and provide gap analysis (scope of change, performance variance, improper costing at tender stage…)
11. Be the reference point and business partner of the Project Procurement Manager/Project Finance Manager/Site Controller
12. Be able to understand financial flows in an industrial environment and follow work orders closure progress versus targets and Check costs against objectives
13. Be able to forecast the external material consumption based on the manufacturing planning.
14. Maintain a proper database of Index and be the reference for sourcing department in terms of inflation analysis and suppliers Price Variation Formulas validation.
15. Manage properly and own all the SAP/GSI relevant transaction
16. Be able to use BI

Financial Administration

17. Respect and apply Alstom Tenders and projects processes and tools

Management

18. Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making.
19. Ad-hoc reporting on projects external sourcing costs.

DESIRED PROFILE :

20. Degree in finance or business management with financial qualification.
21. Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in an industrial/manufacturing sector, in a controlling position
22. Preferably first experience on Long Term Contract/Material Control/Industrial Controlling
23. Good level in English
24. Very good knowledge of SAP
25. Advanced level in Excel

27. Open to think out the box, to analyze industrial, manufacturing, sourcing procurement and all other business aspects
28. Well-developed communication skills and the ability to convince with presentations
29. Affinity to finance, numbers and financial tools (BI/SAP)
30. Good analytical as well as problem-solving skills
31. Able to present to management teams
32. Ability to listen, interpret, influence, negotiate, inspire and challenge are essential for this role
