MISSIONS UNDER THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WORKS DIRECTOR: • Become familiar with - and proficient in - your cases/contracts • Prepare your operation(s) • Define your needs, the survey elements, the method and resources in terms of labor and materials • Manage orders • Carry out and optimize the construction survey (budget) • Conduct the negotiations in order to propose selected secondary building trades • Anticipate, coordinate and monitor and correct the activities of the secondary building trades by taking into account the interfaces with the structural work team • Monitor and verify the execution of the works under your responsibility by setting the objectives of the site and/or works supervisors, and monitor the progress of the works (progress schedules, report on necessary additional expenses and products, track and correct budgets, invoicing and payments) • Verify the implementation and report on the plan for improving the productivity of your operation(s) (follow-up of the labor assessment, drafting of roadmaps, debriefing of site supervisors/team leaders, definition of the schedule in person-days, etc.) and suggest corrective solutions if necessary • Manage client relations by focusing on their satisfaction (quality, lead times, operations prior to reception, resolution of derivations, and reception, etc.) and by adhering to the principles of contract management • Lead and coordinate your teams • Participate in the skills development of your colleagues • Conduct annual appraisal interviews • Check competencies and control skills • Signal any breach and suggest any appropriate sanction • Establish, update and distribute the specific health and safety protection/prevention plan • Review, propose and verify the technical and human measures • Establish the DICT (declaration of the intention to begin work) and make sure the neutralization certificates are obtained • Provide for the building site work and protective equipment, make sure it is compliant, ensure its maintenance and verification, and establish specific guidelines. JOB REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION: 5 years’ higher education, Master II or Master’s in Engineering TRAINING SUBJECTS Civil engineering - Public works REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years’ experience carrying out works JOB ENVIRONMENT INTERNAL Cost studies offices/structures/methods - Accounting - SQE - Logistics - HR - Customer service EXTERNAL Client - Architect - Engineering Office (BET) - Works and Studies Coordinator -Supervising office - External social organizations (CARSAT, work inspectorate, etc.) - Dealership services - Municipal technical services EXIGENCES DE L'EMPLOI De formation Bac 5, Master II ou école d’ingénieurs dans le domaine du BTP.
