Global Head of Quality Strategic Projects, Performance & Digitalization

Reporting to the Group Head of Global Quality, you will be in charge of:
1. Responsible for Servier Global Quality strategy, planning, governance, and communication, in collaboration with Group Quality leadership team & the quality business partners ensuring alignment with the Group 2030 ambition.
2. Accountable for managing strategic/transformational Projects across the Quality function.
3. Responsible for coordinating & governing the Servier Quality Leadership team, acting as the Chief of Staff to the Group Head of Global Quality.
4. Drive external competitive intelligence & coordinate external advocacy groups.
5. Define and drive a holistic Quality digitalisation roadmap across the GxP continuum in collaboration with the Data & Digital department and the Group Quality leadership team.
6. Build and lead a high-performing quality and operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
7. Define, optimise, and control financial budgets within your remit.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Projects, Performance & Digitalization :
Drive a culture of excellence in Quality beyond compliance by promoting cross-functional collaboration and collective benefit.
Responsible for defining and implementing the Quality transformation roadmap in collaboration with the Group Quality leadership team.
Orchestrate the Group Quality strategic roadmap across all divisions and functions with proper governance and metrics.
Establish transformation and excellence processes & networks, including implementing the Business Process Management Framework in collaboration with peers outside the quality organization.
Train quality leaders on strategy implementation, practices, and tools, ensuring alignment across the organization.
Conduct structured benchmarking to identify best practices and define quality metrics with dashboards for real-time performance visibility.
Define a mid to long-term Quality digital strategy with the Data & Digital & Information Systems (DDIS) department.
Coordinate quality culture projects and lead initiatives such as Modern Quality Thinker, Focus to Impact.
Stakeholders’ Engagement :
Collaborate across the Group to promote quality initiatives and adopt best practices.
Monitor stakeholder needs and concerns, incorporating their interests into decision-making.
Leverage understanding of various functions to lead strategic task forces for collective benefit.
Work cooperatively with other entities to embed quality standards.
Build internal and external partnerships, increasing visibility of the Quality function.
Leadership :
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Represent the quality function in governance bodies and interface with senior management on strategic projects.
Mentor project managers and manage stakeholders to promote standardization and harmonization.
Define organizational objectives and promote a collaborative environment.
Program & Project Management :
Act as a PMO for the Quality transformation roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and escalation when needed.
Lead cross-functional strategic projects and ensure project management excellence.
Proactively identify future projects impacting the quality organization.
Serve as a sponsor for strategic initiatives.
Chief Of Staff :
Support the Group Head of Quality in governance definition and facilitate Quality Leadership team events.
Implement the Quality communication strategy and coordinate the vision, mission, and objectives.
Profile Required :
PhD and/or Business school and/or Pharmacy/Master Degree; Black Belt (6 Sigma) is a plus.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or strategy consulting.
At least 10 years of leadership in international, matrixed organizations.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Hard Skills :
Strong project management skills, operational excellence (Lean), knowledge of quality processes, pharmaceutical regulations, digital transformation experience, analytical skills.
Leadership Skills :
Ethical leadership, proactive industry trend anticipation, performance management, business acumen, decision-making based on data.
Soft Skills :
Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, excellent communication, innovative problem-solving, ethical conduct.
