About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and deliver end-to-end recruitment for our manufacturing site in Alby/France. This role is critical to ensuring we attract, hire, and retain high-quality talent across production, engineering, quality, supply chain, R&D and site support functions.
You will act as a trusted partner to site leadership, owning the local talent acquisition strategy & operations while aligning with regional and global TA frameworks. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic planning, stakeholder management, and operational recruitment delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership
1. Develop and execute a site-specific talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and workforce planning.
2. Serve as the primary TA partner to Site Leadership and HR, advising on hiring strategies, market trends, and talent risks.
End-to-End Recruitment
3. Oversee full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, engineering, technical, quality, and professional roles but also contingent roles (Temporary workers)
4. Ensure efficient, compliant, and candidate-centric hiring processes from requisition to onboarding.
5. Manage high-volume recruitment needs while maintaining quality and time-to-hire targets.
Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Partnership
6. Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing guidance on role definition, selection, and interviewing best practices.
7. Challenge and influence stakeholders when needed to ensure effective and inclusive hiring decisions.
Employer Branding & Talent Pipelines
8. Strengthen the employer brand locally in Alby and across France as needed, in partnership with Communications and HR.
9. Build sustainable talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, university partnerships, vocational schools, and local networks.
10. Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and local talent initiatives.
Compliance, Process & Data
11. Ensure all recruitment activities comply with French Labor law, GDPR, and internal policies.
12. Track and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, quality of hire, diversity indicators) and drive continuous improvement.
13. Contribute to regional or global TA projects, process optimization, and system enhancements, and occasionally provide support to alternative sites/countries.
Required Qualifications & Experience
14. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
15. Experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant experience in manufacturing, industrial, or life science environments.
16. Proven experience managing site-based or high-volume recruitment.
17. Strong knowledge of the French Labor market and employment legislation.
18. Experience partnering closely with senior leaders and operational managers.
19. Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
20. Previous manufacturing talent acquisition experience gained in France
21. Experience working in a matrixed, international organization.
22. Familiarity with ATS systems and data-driven recruitment methods.
23. Experience with contingent workforce program management is an asset
