POSITION: Educational Travel Program Manager
REPORTS TO: Program Operations
LOCATION: Remote (must be based in Europe)
We are seeking a Educational Travel Program Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional group travel experiences. In this role, you will play a vital part in our team, managing all aspects of educational travel programs—from initial concept through execution and final reconciliation. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Management
* Lead and support the planning and execution of multiple group educational travel programs.
* Manage all aspects of group itineraries, including:
* Creative concept development.
* Budget control, management, and reconciliation.
* Registration, transportation, and activity planning.
* Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and adhere to established standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
* Negotiate and review supplier contracts to ensure accuracy and favorable terms.
* Identify and capitalize on opportunities for added value, cost savings, and efficiency improvements for our clients.
* Provide creative problem-solving support and expert advice to clients.
* Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless program execution.
Administration & General Responsibilities
* Communicate proactively with leadership to identify and resolve challenges that may impact productivity or program outcomes.
* Share knowledge and best practices with the team to drive efficiency and innovation.
* Handle ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience: 4+ years in the travel industry, with a strong focus on group travel management and itinerary development.
* Project Management: Advanced skills in budget control, management, and reconciliation.
* Relationship Building: Exceptional ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
* Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Problem-Solving: A creative, resourceful mindset with the ability to act decisively in ambiguous situations.
* Organization: Highly organized with outstanding time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
