Missions
Activités principales
Operated by MINES Paris – PSL with ESPCI Paris – PSL and Chimie ParisTech – PSL, the Bachelor I-BE³ is a new three-year international undergraduate program in English, starting September 2026. It aims to provide a French-style, generalist and systemic engineering education with a focus on societal, climate, and environmental issues, while ensuring excellence in engineering sciences. The Program Officer will promote the program, recruit students, and coordinate student support, working with academic, administrative, and international relations teams.
Reporting to the Director of the Bachelor program, and working in close coordination with the international relations, promotion, and recruitment offices of MINES Paris – PSL and PSL University, the officer will carry out the following missions :
Main responsibilities
Promotion and outreach
- Design and implement of the communication and outreach strategy for the Bachelor, at both national and international levels
- Represent the program at events in France and abroad (student fairs, academic forums, etc.), delivering presentations to promote the program
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of the Bachelor, reaching diverse audiences and academic contexts.
Recruitment and admissions
- Inform, guide, and support applicants throughout the admissions process, in close collaboration with the relevant offices of MINES Paris – PSL and PSL University
- Contribute to the organization of selection procedures (interviews, admission boards) and ensure the monitoring of admission
- Manage and update digital tools and candidate databases, including notably the use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Produce statistical reports on applicants and admitted students (geographical origins, social diversity, gender balance, etc.) for different stakeholders.
Student affairs and support
- Contribute to the welcoming and integration of students from diverse national and international backgrounds
- Provide support for logistical and administrative actions (student academic follow-up, systematic archiving).
Flexibility and transversal missions
- Provide occasional support for other projects related to the Bachelor’s development (partnerships, pedagogical initiatives, etc)
- Engage in the collective dynamic of the MINES Paris – PSL Directorate of Education
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Bachelor Director or the relevant line manager.
Profil du candidat
Savoirs et compétences attendus
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in education, international relations, communication, higher education management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the recruitment, management, or promotion of academic programs, ideally with an international dimension, would be an asset.
- Proficiency in communication tools, digital application platforms, and CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of both French and English (minimum CEFR C1 level in both). Knowledge of a third language is an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social and environmental responsibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders (students, faculty, institutional and international partners).
Terms of employment
Position primarily based at the MINES Paris – PSL campus Pierre Laffitte in Sophia Antipolis.
Occasional travel in France and abroad will be required.
Telework possible up to one day per week.
Presence required during key periods demanding direct involvement (admission sessions, program launch, promotional events, boards, etc.).
Three-year fixed-term contract ; salary according to institutional scale and experience.
