La Direction Comptable d'Amazon France recherche un Analyste Financier Senior, rattaché au Head of Accounting, pour rejoindre son équipe de 8 personnes, chargée du contrôle des comptes des entités françaises et belges couvrant l'ensemble des activités du groupe (retail, AWS, digital, etc.). Le poste implique la responsabilité des aspects de contrôle et de comptabilité.
Les flux comptables sont gérés dans plusieurs entités juridiques avec l'implication de nombreux intervenants dans différents sites et France et à l'Etranger. En plus des responsabilités comptables et de reporting, la personne pilotera des projets et développera les meilleures pratiques en matière de processus et de contrôle, en mettant l'accent sur l'utilisation des nouvelles technologies.

Amazon's France Accounting team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Head of Accounting to join its team of 8 people, responsible for controlling the accounts of the French and Belgian entities covering all of the group's activities (retail, AWS, digital, etc.). The role has responsibility for aspects of the controllership and accounting function in support of the EMEA operations. The accounting flows are operated in multiple legal entities with involvement of a number of stakeholders in different locations. In addition to the accounting and reporting responsibilities, the individual will drive cross-border projects and develop best practice in processes and controllership in France and Belgium and on an international level, with an emphasis on utilizing new technology and developing subject matter expertise in this area. They will also drive implementation of policies with the financial leadership team based out of worldwide Amazon locations. Key job responsibilities

• Participation aux clôtures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles pour les entités françaises et Belges en normes locales,
• Participation aux revues analytiques mensuelles des bilans et des comptes de résultat,
• Préparation des comptes statutaires,
• Collaboration au lancement de nouvelles entités, activités et autres projets en lien avec le développement du groupe en France,
• Réalisation d'analyses comptables et documentation des traitements comptables en normes locales,
• Collaboration avec des acteurs cross-fonctionnels dans le but de maintenir des processus et des contrôles efficaces,
• Participation active à des initiatives internationales d'amélioration, standardisation, refonte des processus et contrôles, mise en application des best practices, en collaboration étroite avec les équipes Tech et en démontrant une bonne compréhension des systèmes de reporting financier,
• Communications régulières avec les tiers, incluant notamment les commissaires aux comptes, les consultants et les prestataires.

• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closings for French and Belgium entities in Local GAAP
• Participation in monthly analytical reviews of balance sheets and income statements
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Collaboration on the launch of new entities, activities and other projects related to the group's development in France
• Performing accounting analyses and documentation of accounting treatments under Local GAAP
• Collaboration with cross-functional players to maintain effective processes and controls
• Active participation in international initiatives to improve, standardize, redesign processes and controls, implement best practices, in close collaboration with IT teams and demonstrating a good understanding of financial reporting systems
• Regular communication with third parties, including statutory auditors, consultants and service providers.

• Bac + 5 en finance et/ou diplômes comptables (DCG/DSCG)
• Plusieurs années d’expérience en comptabilité et idéalement complétée d’une expérience dans un moyen/grand groupe international dans un environnement en rapide évolution
• Connaissance approfondie des normes comptables françaises et des obligations légales et fiscales locales
• Solides capacités de communication, à l’écrit comme à l’oral, pratique courante du français et de l’anglais des affaires (C1) Le CV devrait être envoyé en anglais.

• Master’s degree (BAC + 5) in Finance and/or French CPA (DCG/DSCG)
• Several years of experience with an emphasis on accounting and preferably combined with an experience of working for a medium to large international company, in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Deep knowledge of FR GAAP as well as statutory filings and the related legal and tax requirements
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in both business English and French (C1)
