Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance and optimize existing FPGA-based prototypes using Synopsys HAPS-100 and Xilinx Virtex-7/UltraScale+ platforms. Perform RTL integration, synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure for large-scale designs.
* Utilize ProtoCompiler for design partitioning, synthesis, and implementation across multi-FPGA systems.
* Use Synopsys Design Compiler for RTL synthesis and optimization in preparation for FPGA or ASIC implementation.
* Debug and validate FPGA prototypes using tools such as Synopsys Identify, ChipScope, and Vivado Logic Analyzer.
* Collaborate with ASIC/SoC design teams to ensure FPGA compatibility and design fidelity.
* Automate FPGA build and validation flows using scripting languages (TCL, Python, Shell).
* Support software and firmware teams with early access to hardware platforms for development and testing.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and prototyping.
* Proficiency in FPGA flow (synthesis, timing analysis, and debugging) on Xilinx (Vivado) and Synopsys (HAPS-100, ProtoCompiler).
* Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
* Proficiency in scripting (TCL, Python, Shell) for tool automation.
* Understanding of ASIC synthesis using DC Compiler.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capable of working in autonomy.
