Job Description :

The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator will pave the way to smart automation capabilities by integrating new innovative bricks including computer vision and data fusion. The goal is to help pilots and facilitate missions.

This internship, within Airbus UpNext, will start as soon as possible and last for 5 months.

The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator team is seeking a full-stack web technology software engineer to develop advanced applications to improve aircraft operations on the ground and in flight.

Mission

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include :

Prepare a test campaign on integration simulator scheduled for September 2025 (involving pilots and external stakeholders like ATC), leading to upstream activities:

Define integration steps to verify the proper functioning of system components: connectivity, data exchange, data management, display

Prepare test bench configuration for integration tests,

Perform integration tests,

Open defects to track corrections and evolutions

Participate in pre-evaluation tests on different platforms (simulation and integration simulator)

Document test setup procedures (using Confluence) for formal tests

Participate in formal evaluations with test pilots and controllers, providing support

All activities will be carried out jointly with the Test responsible, Software development team, and Design Team.

The preparation phase runs from June to August 2025, with formal testing scheduled for September-October 2025.
