Context
TheDigital Academymission is to build and deliver high quality intensive training programs to significantly upskill key populations in D&IS and more widely in Alstom, based on business strategy, competencies and skills development needs (scope : 12000+ people).Aspart of the Digital Academy, and in direct contact with signalling site engienering directors,the Signalling Academy Leader leads the development of skills of signalling engineering teams.
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in engineering, signalling systems, and training development to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and driven teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and competencies of our signalling engineering teams, directly contributing to Alstom’s Digital 2030 strategy and the broader business objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with signalling site engineering directors, Subject Matter Experts, instructional designers, and regional HR teams to prioritize, develop, and deliver impactful training programs.
You’ll specifically take care of defining core upskilling needs and creating a comprehensive training development plan, but also ensure the successful rollout and effectiveness of these programs across regions.
We’ll look to you for:
Identifying and proposing core upskilling needs based on business strategies, signalling platform priorities, and competency analyses
Developing a comprehensive training program with clear benefits, target populations, and measurable success criteria
Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to deliver high-quality training materials
Managing instructional designers to transform content into ready-to-deploy training modules
Influencing regional HR and engineering teams to prioritize training hours for these programs
Ensuring the effectiveness and alignment of training courses with expected outcomes

Master of Science in Engineering
10+ years of engineering background
Experience in signalling systems design
Proven experience in transversal management
Desirable: experience in training delivery
Strong leadership and communication skills

Delivery-oriented and objectives-driven mindset
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
Passion for people development and capacity to influence
