Cette thèse vise à explorer la variabilité du contrôle locomoteur à travers le prisme du développement et du vieillissement, dans des situations de double tâche (tâche cognitive + tâche motrice) [1, 2]. L'objectif est d'identifier s'il existe des mécanismes comportementaux communs gouvernant ces deux extrémités du cycle de vie, l'enfance et le vieillissement, et de déterminer si la variabilité peut constituer un marqueur fonctionnel de l'adaptation motrice tout au long de la vie [3-5]. À partir d'approches comportementales et cognitives, ce projet de thèse permettra de proposer un modèle intégré de la variabilité motrice reliant développement, stabilité et flexibilité du système moteur humain.

This thesis aims to explore the variability of locomotor control through the lens of development and aging, in dual-task situations (cognitive task + motor task). The objective is to identify whether there are common behavioral mechanisms governing these two ends of the life cycle, childhood and aging, and to determine whether variability can serve as a functional marker of motor adaptation throughout life [3–5]. Based on behavioral and cognitive approaches, this doctoral project will propose an integrated model of motor variability linking development, stability, and flexibility of the human motor system.
