Freelance IT Risk Manager – Paris

Duration: Freelance ( 6 Month rolling contract)

Location: Paris (3 days/week on-site)

twentyAI's customer are looking for a IT Risk Manager to join the IT Organization team of a major financial institution. You will coordinate internal and external audits, manage operational and cyber risks, support regulatory reporting, and act as the key interface between IT and various risk, compliance, and audit teams (internal & external).

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate internal/external audits (CACs, regulators)
* Manage operational and cyber risk remediation plans
* Design and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
* Lead Risk Committee preparations and RSA exercises
* Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line defense teams (Risk, Cyber, Compliance)
* Support regulatory reporting and compliance requests (AMF, REGSCI, etc.)

Requirements

* 6–10 years of experience in IT risk, audit, or operational risk (IT focus)
* Strong knowledge of IT processes and risk management frameworks
* Excellent communication and reporting skills (English mandatory)
* Proficiency in Excel
* Experience working in regulated financial environments is a plus
