Solutions architect

We are seeking a skilled IT Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 solutions, including

Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other applications included in the M365 suite.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding technical decisions related to our Microsoft

365 environment with the end goal to enhance collaboration, productivity, and security across

the organization.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain the architecture for Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
* Contribute to the construction and evolution of the technology roadmap working with the technology manager and technical experts, following Enterprise Architecture strategy and principles.
* Analyse the current Business Application Architecture landscape of the M365 suite, to develop opportunities for improvements.
* Provide Architectural guidance and leadership on complex solutions and ensure that they are scalable, secure and aligned with long-term objectives.
* Liaise with other Solution to bring together viewpoints of Enterprise, Solution, information, and technology architecture to design solutions that deliver business value and enable organisations to become resilient and future-fit.
* Responsible for validating solution Architecture: Ensures initiatives comply with established EA principles, standards, and guidelines.
* Responsible for building and for the completeness of the Solution Architecture Design (SAD) document, liaising with all other Architects to make sure SAD is complete.
* Responsible for the ADR (Architecture Decision Record): Analyses high level requirements and identifies potential scenarios. Leads solution assessments (reuse-buy-build).
* Able to guide technical community engineers to ensure that the solutions being developed / implemented are using the latest and most appropriate technology stack.


Qualifications

* Required Higher Education completed preferably with a degree in Engineering or Computer Science
* Minimum of 8+ years of professional working experience within the field of Solution architecture
* Familiar with Architecture Frameworks and development/operational methodologies (e.g., ITIL, ITSM...) with excellent knowledge of information systems, related modelling methods & tools
* Good understanding of Innovation approaches and methodologies (Design Thinking, lean Start-up, ...)
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and best practices, recommending enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
* Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365 (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) preferred
* Experience with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Dynamics 365) is a plus
