The objective of the Safety Director is to build and implement a roadmap to improve the safety culture with the aim of achieving 0 serious or fatal accidents.
Missions
•Act as the VIVESCIA Group's contact for the CARE programme
•Act as the VIVESVIA Group's contact for crisis management
•Act as the VIVESCIA Group's contact for insurance prevention visits, take part in them and help follow up recommendations
•Ensure that Safety Week is organised in all countries where Malteurop operates
•Take part in Malteurop's Management Committee meetings to suggest areas for improvement and monitor the actions decided on
•Provide support to the BUs to help them take the right direction and build their roadmap
•Participate in the analysis of safety events that occur at Malteurop in order to draw the right lessons for the organisation.
•Improve the level of compliance at the sites: Rules that Save, Standards, Major Risks, Silo Safety, Just Culture, etc.
•Lead the Malteurop safety committee
•Share best practice
•Help to recruit the Group's various resources
•Run leadership training courses for managers
•Make regular visits to sites to provide an outside view of their progress
•Ensure the consistency of regulatory monitoring across all countries
•Propose important and priority standards for the Group
•Provide support for sites in difficulty, under construction or being acquired
•Organise a cross-audit system between the BUs
•Participate in the work of the Operations department
•Define and update performance tables
To join our team, you have:
* a Master degree in general business, engineering or equivalent with a specialization in safety and industrial risk
* 10+ years’ experience with operational experiences
* a Proven track record within an industrial environment and agrifood industry
* a Prior experience in international company
* a Proficiency in French / English (written and spoken).
* an Additional languages may be advantageous.
* a food level in Microsoft Office
