Task Responsibilities:

* Architecture Design, Development & Planning:Design end-to-end IT solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.Define architecture blueprints, patterns, and reference models.Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) artifacts and CI/CD pipelines.
* Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural components.
* Technology Evaluation & Selection: Assess and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools.Ensure compatibility with existing systems and future scalability.
* Governance & Compliance: Enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices.Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards). Perform architecture reviews and technical architecture governance.
* Security & Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, implement controls, develop and update policies, standards and procedures. Integrate security principles into architecture (e.g., identity, access control, data protection).Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the design phase.
* Integration & Interoperability: Identifyinterfacesof integration points and data flows between systems, applications, and services.Ensure seamless integration across heterogeneous environments (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
* Documentation & Communication:Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and decision records.Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Project Support & Delivery: Support development and operations teams during implementation.Validate architecture through proof-of-concepts, pilots, and testing.Ensure alignment between solution delivery and architectural vision.
* Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.Continuously refine architecture practices and introduce innovations.
* Strategic Alignment: Align IT architecture with enterprise strategy and business capabilities.Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps and transformation initiatives.
* Performance Optimization: Monitor performance and identify bottlenecks, optimize network configurations to improve performance, conduct capacity planning to ensure scalability.Implement observability tools and FinOps practices for cost control. Apply performance engineering principles during design and implementation.


Essential Requirements For The Position:

* Master's Degree or Equivalent experience in a computer science related field.
* 10+ years of experience in a similar architecture roles (cloud architecture, solution architecture or enterprise architecture).
* Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures.
* Proficiency in network security architecture, especially in regulated industries.
* Ability to design, develop and implement cloud nativesolutions.
* Demonstrate an in-depth technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure security risks and industry best practices.
* Familiar with development methodologies using Agile practices and principles.
* Microsoft Azure/AWS/Google cloud certification
* TOGAF certification
* Familiar with Relational databases (Oracle, MSQL), dotNET Core, REST APIs, Git.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to educate non-technical audiences on various infrastructure measures/topics.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Team player and ability to work with multiple technical teams and technologies to ensure high security standard of the entire IT landscape.
* Experience in the airline industry would be considered a strong advantage.
* Proficiency in English.
* Be willing to travel when required within our international organization (more than 50 different countries).


Working Conditions:

* Permanent contract.
* Full-time position based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
* Occasional travel required.
* The position holder might have to be an stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents.
* Standard office hours are to be expected Monday - Friday.
* A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
