Role
As the Group Modern Workplace Director, you are the architect of the digital transformation. You are responsible for defining the global strategy, designing innovative solutions, and orchestrating the roadmap for our collaboration and endpoint management platforms (M365, Intune, Tanium, etc.). Your goal is to ensure that every L\'Oréal employee, worldwide, has access to the most advanced, secure, and efficient digital tools. Reporting to the Group CTO, you lead all the Modern Workplace (EndPoint & Digital Workplace) organization and set the pace for innovation within the technical domain.
Responsibilities
* Define the 3-year vision for the Modern Workplace domain in alignment with Beauty Tech goals.
* Own the Global Roadmap: prioritize new features, service evolutions, and technological pivots (e.g., AI integration with Copilot, advanced automation).
* Service Design: lead the design of "Ready-to-Use" services that can be deployed at scale across all Zones and Hubs (including India Tech Hub).
* Lead the Build Team: manage a high-level team of architects and project managers focused on engineering and new deployments.
* Technology Watch: anticipate market trends and conduct PoCs to evaluate the impact of new technologies on employee productivity.
* Vendor Management (Strategic): manage relationships with key partners (Microsoft, Tanium, etc.) to influence product roadmaps according to L\'Oréal\'s needs.
* Standardization: define and enforce global technical standards, security baselines, and "Blueprints" for the Group.
* Compliance & Security by Design: ensure all new solutions meet cybersecurity standards in collaboration with the CISO office.
* Architecture Review: validate technical choices and deploy them to local hubs to ensure global consistency.
* Strategic Liaison: act as the bridge between Global Infra, Security, and Business units to support business-specific needs.
* Hub Empowerment: provide India Tech Hub and Zone teams with frameworks and tools to operate the "Run" effectively.
* Roadmap Execution: drive the transition from legacy systems to modern, cloud-native solutions (e.g., full Cloud-Managed Endpoints).
* Financial Management: manage the CAPEX/OPEX budget for the Build domain and ensure ROI of new investments.
* Change Management Strategy: define global adoption strategy for new tools and ensure seamless employee experience.
* Complex Project Steering: direct high-impact global programs (e.g., global migrations, large-scale security hardening).
* Policy Definition: draft and update global policies on device management, collaboration etiquette, and data protection.
* Performance Metrics: define Experience KPIs (XLA) to measure impact on employee satisfaction and productivity.
Skills & Qualifications
* Expertise: Deep knowledge of M365 ecosystem, Intune, Tanium.
* Experience: Proven track record in leading global IT transformations and managing complex roadmaps in a multinational environment.
* Leadership: Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead remote, multi-cultural engineering teams.
* Mindset: Strategic thinker with a product management approach to IT services and a strong focus on UX.
