Description de la mission

The Subsystem Architect is responsible for defining the roadmap of his subsystem.
Achieves the Quality, Cost, Time and Performance targets
Ensures the consistency of the subsystems constituting it up to the level of the Component layer.
Exchanges and negotiates with the vehicle system architect and other subsystem architects to design the functional and logical interfaces of his scope.

Responsibilities
Organize and lead a design group bringing together all the stakeholders involved in the design
Manage the identification of needs and negotiation with upstream stakeholders
Manage the identification of constraints and opportunities resulting from the benchmark, the component layer, the evolution of regulations, and other sources
Build and maintain the architecture of the subsystems (operational, functional, construction) allowing the best synthesis of Cost, Quality, Deadline, Performance
Organize and manage the delivery of design deliverables
Ensure the robustness of subsystem design deliverables through tech reviews
Contribute to the evolution of Stellantis subsystem engineering methodologies
Ensure technology watch for his subsystem

Coordination of activities involving stakeholders from all technical centers.

Develops the technical policy of the subsystem and ensures feedback to the guarantor of the repository
Defines the strategies of the subsystem : diversity management, validation
Contribute to the definition of design methodologies and standards
Develop and enforce the technical policy of the subsystem
Ensuring the achievement of objectives Quality Cost Time Subsystem Delivery
Collect and negotiate requirements issued by system and other subsystem businesses, as well as manufacturing businesses
Collect and negotiate component constraints and opportunities
Define the subsystem architecture and design strategy, including the management of modularity and diversity, allocate the requirements to the technical specifications of the components
Define strategies for integrating the subsystem into the manufacturing process
Break down requirements to components
Justify the design of the subsystem, ensures traceability
Develop or contribute to the Subsystem Integration and Validation Plan
Contribute to the analysis of technical facts
Communicate achievements to projects
Animate the design group
Operationally manage the actors of the domain subsystem
Improve the operational efficiency of the actors in the subsystem of the domain

Reports to the Head of the division
Functional Relationships:
Apply the strategic directions set by the system architects
Cooperate and negotiate with system architects and other subsystems, system synthesis professions, related professions (other subsystems, physical and digital validations)
Functional manager of the other actors of the subsystem
Prospecting with the Innovation teams
Guarantee the coherence of the solutions developed with the actors of the component stratum

Profil

Engineer degree (Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related Engineering degree )

Experiences:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in automotive R&D
- Extensive scientific culture: knowledge of the main technologies for the production of automotive components
- Strong experience with LINUX and Etherne
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Safe/Scrum environment

In-depth knowledge of system architecture engineering and MBSE

Leadership, ability to train, cross-functional management

Ability to collaborate in an international environment
Ability to synthesize
