Finalité du poste

This role is responsible for the design, development and industrialization of electromechanical products or chips, maximizing business value and customer satisfaction.


Missions principales

1. Translates product needs into technical specifications
2. Designs product architecture corresponding to technical specifications
3. Oversees or carries out 3D and 2D drawings (for mechanical parts), schematics placement and layouts (for electronics designs
4. Improves design thanks to CAD (Computer Assisted Design) simulations and emulations
5. Oversees prototypes manufacturing
6. Carries out integration of sub-systems, qualification and validation of hardware design
7. Oversees certifications of products
8. Oversees mass production manufacturing (industrialization)
9. Writes technical guidance
10. Carries out technological watch
11. Participates to quotation for customers
12. Coordinates with stakeholders to solve design and development issues '
13. Owns responsibility of the design and the development of equipment, processes and sub-systems,
14. Determines feasibility from technical and economic perspectives
15. Coordinates and consults with research engineers or scientists and customer representatives to resolve design problems
16. Develops, maintains and capitalizes technical procedures, documentation and modules
17. Contributes to the planning and execution of projects
18. Works under general supervision
