🧭 Présentation du poste
Dans le cadre du renforcement de son organisation commerciale, Avantor recherche un(e) Spécialiste Produit Interne (IPS) dédié(e) aux gammes chimie et chromatographie.
Rattaché(e) à l’équipe Sales, votre rôle ne se limite plus au support technique : vous êtes désormais un acteur du développement commercial, en contribuant à la rédaction et au suivi des devis, à l’identification d’opportunités et à la réussite des actions de vente.
Ce poste s’adresse à un profil scientifique à l’aise dans les échanges clients et capable de faire le lien entre expertise technique et objectifs business.
💼 Missions principales
1. Fournir un support technique expert pour les gammes chimie et chromatographie (clients, commerciaux, équipes internes)
2. Qualifier les besoins clients et proposer les solutions produits adaptées (spécifications, alternatives, documentation)
3. Élaborer des devis commerciaux, en lien avec les attentes du client et les marges définies
4. Assurer un suivi actif des devis pour améliorer le taux de transformation (relances, interactions client)
5. Identifier les opportunités commerciales à travers les échanges et les remonter aux équipes terrain
6. Collaborer avec les services connexes (Offres, Achats, Qualité, Réclamations, Category Management, Service client…)
7. Répondre aux demandes de documentation, référencement, réclamations techniques ou réglementaires
8. Participer à l'amélioration des process et à la satisfaction client

🧪 Profil recherché
12. Diplôme Master ou équivalent en chimie, sciences analytiques, ou domaine connexe
13. Une expérience ou exposition à un environnement commercial ou devis est un réel atout
14. Bonne connaissance du milieu laboratoire, notamment HPLC, GC, solvants, réactifs…
15. À l’aise avec les outils informatiques (Pack Office, SAP, C4C…)

🧭 Position Overview
As part of Avantor’s commitment to scientific progress and customer excellence, we are seeking an Internal Product Specialist (IPS) with a Chemicals and Chromatography focus.
Now integrated into the Sales organization, the IPS plays a key commercial role: delivering expert product support, preparing and following up on quotes, and actively contributing to revenue generation.
If you combine strong scientific knowledge with a commercial mindset and want to make an impact by supporting customer-facing teams and closing business opportunities — this position is for you.
💼 Key Responsibilities
26. Deliver high-level technical support (pre- and post-sales) for chemicals and chromatography product lines to customers, account managers, and internal teams
27. Qualify customer needs and recommend optimal products and solutions based on technical and commercial fit
28. Prepare customer quotations, propose pricing aligned with business expectations, and take ownership of quotation follow-up to maximize conversion
29. Drive quote-to-order success by proactively engaging with customers and sales teams to close deals
30. Identify commercial opportunities during interactions with customers and pass on qualified leads to sales
31. Support product referencing, alternative proposals, and documentation requests for Avantor and supplier products
32. Collaborate with multiple departments: Customer Service, Quotations, Regulatory, Quality, Category Management, and External Suppliers
33. Manage product-specific issues, including complaints, stock challenges, or regulatory clarifications
34. Stay informed about market trends, pricing intelligence, and customer buying behaviors in your field

🧪 Required Qualifications
38. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, or a related scientific field
39. A first experience or exposure to a sales, quotation, or commercial environment is a strong plus
40. Good knowledge of laboratory workflows, especially HPLC, GC, SPE, and reagents/solvents
41. Familiarity with customer support platforms and ERP/CRM tools (SAP, C4C, etc.)
