Business analyst

As part of a long-term collaboration with one of our key clients, we are recruiting a Business Analyst (M/F) to support the definition and delivery of new functionalities within an existing IT solution. The selected candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that enhancements are aligned with real business needs.


🎯 Role and Responsibilities

* Gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements related to new features or improvements of an existing application
* Facilitate workshops and interviews with end users, subject matter experts, and technical teams
* Translate business needs into clear, structured, and testable specifications (functional and non-functional)
* Write and maintain user stories, process flows, use cases, and mock-ups
* Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and project managers during delivery phases
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario validation and coordination with key users
* Contribute to change management by producing documentation and participating in user training or communication when needed


🧠 Required Skills

* Proven experience (min. 3 years) as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst
* Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into structured requirements
* Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, or similar
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills
* Strong documentation and analytical mindset
* Experience working in an agile or hybrid project environment
* Knowledge of a specific industry (e.g. pharma, finance, manufacturing) is a plus


👤 Profile

* Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
* Proactive, structured, and able to work cross-functionally
* Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is a big plus
* Position based in Switzerland – valid work authorization required
