As part of that foundation, we are seeking passionate and conscientious xIL Platform Architect to lead technically a cross functional team of virtualization, plant modeling and xIL integration engineers develop the virtual test platforms (xIL) for the next generation vehicle controller development and testing, which includes requirement modeling, plant models, soft and virtual ECU's development, integration, testing and deployment in different domains (ADAS/ AD, Energy, E-powertrain and Body, Cockpit and Connected services). The xIL Platform Architect is responsible as a SME to define virtual vehicle platform architecture.
Position Requirements :
You will BE part of a global SW driven engineering organization with a modern state of the art agile culture. If you have a proactive quality mindset and a test from day one attitude, you will BE the right candidate. We are looking for highly motivated xIL Systems/ Platform Architect to work side by side with SW development and test engineers within agile teams from the early design phase until validation.
In this role, you will interface with cross-functional team of ECU Hardware, Systems, Architecture, SW, Controls, Plant Modeling and Calibration engineers to design the xIL subsystem or system architecture to meet the development or testing use case and to rapidly leading resolution of xIL simulation environment and/or integration issues, triage, troubleshooting during testing of xIL test properties.
This new way of testing starts at day one by not only testing implementations and requirements but challenging design and logical architecture in the earliest phase driven by a test first/test right now mentality !
Beside this proactive test first/test right now, mindset we seek for good expertise on the following :
MBSE
MBD
Plant model development (sensors, actuators, e-powertrain, vehicle dynamics, brake etc.)
Virtual and Soft ECU
Software verification and validation methods
In addition, you have the opportunity to set new benchmarks in terms of virtualization technologies, test automation, modeling frameworks and methodology by advancing CI/CD mindset on all abstraction levels starting with continuous design verification down to continuous testing and deployment in highly virtualized environments. You will BE part of an interdisciplinary agile team designing and applying agile methods for new and advanced features including ADAS and EV systems.
