MISSIONS

The Infra Site Supervisor's mission is to manage the site, in coordination with the Works Supervisor and the various trades. They must ensure construction works meet schedules and the commitments undertaken.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Complete onboarding of employees, temporary staff and sub-contractors and verify authorizations (French Certificate of Fitness for Safe Driving (CACES)). Present the building site, its challenges, risks, and the construction works to be completed to employees.
* Organize and plan the missions and the work of the teams, based on building site requirements and progress.
* Support teams’ professionalization and upskilling and manage HR processes within the scope they are responsible for.
* Encourage professional best practices and govern improper conduct.


Building site preparation and installation

* Ensure availability and consistency of all building site administrative documentation (authorizations, installation plans, construction working drawings, etc.).
* Define and review the building site construction works, acknowledging construction plans and documentation by visiting the site.
* Establish the construction works schedule and operating procedures (technical decisions, security, resources, teams, PPSPP, PAQ, PRE plans) with the Works Supervisor.
* Communicate procedures and documentation to teams and ensure their understanding.
* Ensure the equipment and materials needed are present and available, managing their supply.
* Ensure the implementation of signage, security devices, preparation of access roads, storage areas, and living quarters if needed.


Monitoring of the building site’s construction

* Supervise the setup of the construction.
* Present the building site to the teams, outlining challenges and dividing work into tasks.
* Monitor the progress of the works schedule.
* Perform technical checks and decide on corrections with the Works Supervisor.
* Monitor consumption, analyze deviations, notify the supervisor, and implement corrective actions.
* Draft and communicate the building site report.


Building site handover

* Ensure the completion of each part of the works and organize site withdrawal.
* Participate in construction handover.
* Collect and communicate elements for as-built drawings.


Quality, Prevention, Security, Environment

* Ensure application of guidelines, procedures, and rules for security.
* Produce reports for managers.
* Ensure quality and security within lead times.
* Before leaving, ensure quality of services provided.
* Manage weekly team security and environmental constraints.


Specific activities

Includes pipe works, demolition/decontamination, rail works, earthworks, roads, and associated responsibilities.


Job requirements

* Significant experience as a Team Leader.
* Relevant authorizations based on the position (e.g., BR-B2V, M2, AIPR, asbestos supervision).


Job environment

Reporting line: Works Supervisor. Internal relations include engineering consultants, support departments, and workers. External relations include subcontractors, clients, suppliers, residents, and service providers.
