Mission
The Payment Product team is a key enabler of Pluxee’s business. It covers benefit issuance, payment instrument management, merchant acceptance, transaction processing, and settlement.
As a Product Manager / Product Owner in the Global Payment Team, you will help shape and deliver the Pluxee payment experience by working closely with local markets, global teams (product, tech, business), and external partners. You will transform high-level product strategies into actionable deliverables by managing backlogs, defining functional requirements, and collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth execution. Your focus will be on building high-quality features, improving system capabilities, and delivering user value.
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Manager / Product Owner, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Translate the product vision and strategy into clear, actionable backlog items.
* Gather and formalize business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
* Prioritize and manage the product backlog to align with business objectives and user needs.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to define sprint goals and ensure successful delivery.
* Support local markets in the rollout and adoption of payment features.
* Maintain functional documentation, including payment flows and service catalogs.
* Monitor product performance, usage, and incidents; propose improvements accordingly.
* Contribute to incident resolution with functional analysis and ensure proper follow-up.
* Facilitate communication between product, business, and technical teams.
* Ensure compliance and quality standards are met in all product developments.
Role & Expectations
In this role, you are expected to:
* Act as the functional owner of your scope — focusing on defining what the product should do, not how it is technically implemented.
* Develop a strong understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle, including issuance, authorization, processing, and settlement.
* Be a key contributor to delivering continuous improvements in the payment product offering.
* Collaborate actively with local markets and external partners to support deployment and gather feedback.
* Document and maintain functional assets such as payment flows, use cases, and the product catalog.
* Bring clarity and structure to complex business problems and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Profile
* Payment knowledge: Solid understanding of digital payments, transaction flows, and partners involved (issuers, acquirers, processors).
* Product experience: Experience in managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
* Functional expertise: Comfortable translating business requirements into clear functional specs and testable features.
* Analytical mindset: Strong attention to detail and ability to break down complex problems into actionable components.
* Communication: Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Language: Fluent in English (French or another language is a plus).
* Mindset: Pragmatic, structured, delivery-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
