Operations and maintenance (o&m) engineer – energy sector

Mission


Your goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of strategic energy facilities through rigorous management of operations and maintenance, guaranteeing technical availability and regulatory compliance at all times.


Key Responsibilities


• Supervise the execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans in complex technical environments.

• Coordinate and lead in-house technical teams and external contractors.

• Plan critical technical interventions, periodic inspections, and sensitive operations with a high degree of traceability.

• Prepare technical reports in accordance with strict quality and safety protocols.

• Manage service contracts, technical logistics, and control of operational costs.

• Act as a liaison between the various stakeholders in the project: technical management, operators, authorities, and contractors.

• Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of operational procedures under specific regulations and demanding regulatory frameworks.


Desired Profile


• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or similar).

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in O&M within critical energy infrastructures (power plants, large technical facilities, etc.).

• Prior experience in environments with strong regulatory requirements and strict documentation traceability.

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical resources.

• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP PM or similar.

• Strong focus on operational safety, quality, and continuous improvement.


Valuable Assets


• Experience in projects carried out in collaboration with public or private entities under specific technical licenses.

• Training in industrial safety regulations, technical operations, or risk management.

• Experience in plants with critical processes or closed-cycle energy production systems.

• Ability to work in multicultural or multinational technical environments.
