Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all entities across France
- Ensure preparation and filing of statutory financial statements and ensure robust statutory audits working with external auditors, accounting and finance leadership
- Ensure implementation of statutory changes which impact financial and tax reporting
- Manage accurate and timely submissions of tax returns and declarations, effectively working alongside tax specialists to ensure tax compliance
- Manage local payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
- Support internal audit deliverables
- Support special projects and assignments, as required

- Foster control mindset and awareness of corporate control processes
- Ensure adequate Operational Controls and quality / timely deliverables
- Champion process improvements to drive efficiencies and better control; use tools to drive automation
People:
· Management of a team of employees including supervision, motivation and leadership as required
· Clear communication of objectives, key initiatives, Company and departmental performance indicators
· Nurture and develop talent across the organization; encourage upskilling, continuous learning and development
· Ensure people reviews, enhancing performance + culture, robust training and succession plans
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
· Accounting qualification through a recognized accountancy body, CA / CPA preferred
· Extensive experience in Accounting / Financial Reporting / Taxation
· Strong analytical and technical Accounting and taxation skills
· Proven ability to understand local tax regulations and maintain tax compliance standards
· Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to work with others and to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
· Ability to work with all levels of cross-functional management, and the ability to present complex accounting concepts to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders in an easily understood manner
· Strong business acumen, "can do" attitude combined with strategic thinking and decision making
· Ability to work independently and lead team to advance multiple projects and assignments concurrently
· Ability to develop strong working relationships both internally within Ford and externally with key work partners including external auditors and tax advisors
Higher education in accounting/finance (DESCG, etc.)
Fluent English for communication with all European partners
Solid experience of +/- 10 years in similar roles

Holiday bonus paid in June: approximately €750 (if employed for five months between November 1 and June 1) - amount subject to annual negotiation with representative bodies

- Variable bonus, the amount of which is determined based on the company's results and whose amount and conditions of award are set in accordance with internal rules and the variable compensation plan known as AICP (Annual Incentive Compensation Plan) in force within the Group.
