PURPOSE
The Business Analyst will enhance the Group Operations capacity to steer and improve our operational efficiency in our network, making fact based decisions.
The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in steering and enhancing our rental operations. His / Her primary responsibility will BE to build/improve our steering system, analyze data, gather insights, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability of our Operations. He / She will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, support the prioritization of topics and drive data-informed decision-making.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Steering and Performance Metrics :
- Develop and maintain dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of rental operations (quality, safety, productivity, people engagement)
- Monitor and report on KPIs regularly, highlighting areas requiring attention and improvement.
2. Data Analysis and Strategic insights
- Collect, clean, and analyze data related to rental operations, including sales, customer behavior, fleet utilization, and operational processes.
- Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in the data.
- Identity strategic opportunities for improvement and deliver data-driven recommendations
3. Reporting and Documentation :
- Prepare and present detailed reports or synthesis, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis, findings, and recommendations.
4. Technology and Tools :
- Utilize relevant software tools and technology for data analysis, including data visualization, business intelligence, and statistical analysis tools
5. Project Management & Process Improvement :
- Lead or participate in projects related to rental operations improvements.
- For projects under his/her scope, define project objectives and deliverables, ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with his/her colleagues from the team to identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to propose and implement process optimization strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs.
