In our Operation & Maintenance department, and the technical support team, you will be primarily focusing on acoustics expertise but also on biodiversity expertise. You will closely collaborate with the teams involved in all projects in Europe.

The position is based in Paris La Défense (France).

Type of contract : Apprenticeship / Apprentissage


Main Responsibilities

* Acoustics and biodiversity engineering: support the department leaders, the power stations and the business development department in the management ofthis expertise within the Technical support team
* You will support the compliance policy in terms of environmental protection: in the fields of acoustics and biodiversity within the department for all CGNEE portfolios covering 6 European countries. Many challenges are in France but not limited to (example: Ireland, Belgium...)
* You will bring your expertise for providing deep and technical support to the asset managers for dealing with noise complaints, noise non-conformities, scheduling the noise studies, actively participate to the analysis after a study for ensuring the best balance between the compliance and the production losses if a curtailment is mandatory.
* In close liaison with the operation managers and the referent, participate to the implementation of environmental measures / Definition of the mitigation strategy (A/R/C) and ensure the follow-up of those measures during operation
* Liaise with the suppliers (support the referent): call for tenders, request for proposal, evaluation of the offers, manage the procurement and payment process.
* Maintain with the Tech support team leader the environmental risk matrix, define and optimize some tools or any new process of monitoring
* Acoustic end environmental studies: Internal and external coordination (asset managers, DSO, OEM...) before and during the study for ensuring the study runs in the best conditions
* Optimise your knowledge of the French regulation ICPE and the acoustic protocol. You also have some knowledge about other methodologies applied in other Ell countries
* Participate to the optimization of the noise and environmental curtailment, while the regulatory compliance remains the top priority, evaluation of new smart mitigation solutions, evaluate the offers from OEM and providers
* Report to the Technical support team leader and OMD leaders about all significant progress and actions performed, challenges or main decisions to be taken
* Draft action plan, root cause analysis, perform data analysis, technical opinion on her/his scope of expertise
* Technical and legal monitoring regarding environmental issues in Europe
* Participation to the organization and coordination of the Environmental inspections in France (ICPE), and addressing additional information or measures requested by authorities
* Participation to the internal support for planning permitting with technical opinion regarding his/her scope of expertise
* Support the business development department for the repowering project in France and Belgium: organization of the studies, identification/evaluation/tracking of the criticality of each project, participation to the meetings with the consultant companies, provide technical opinion, review of reports

In addition, and depending on your profile and motivation:

* Participation to the tasks required by ISO14001 and IS055001 for supporting OMD and HSE leaders. Draft and tracking of corrective actions, non-conformities, evaluation of the KPI and update of procedures
* Support the team leader and OMD leaders with some technical analysis and reports related to the performance and environmental losses of CGNEE assets
* Support the team leader and OMD leaders for drafting some presentations when necessary to top management and the mother company


Requirements

* Master/bachelor in Acoustics or Ecology / Bioacoustics or a similar discipline
* Passionate about environmental protection and renewables
* Some knowledge of environmental and noise regulations and protocols
* Additional knowledge in specific mitigation solutions in this field of expertise would be appreciated
* Comfortable with data analysis (Excel, Python, VBA...)
* Office365 environment
* Motivated, dynamic and honest, recognized care and diligence
* Excellent team player, goal-orientated, dynamic, curious
* A quick learner and willing to solve problem
* Fluent in French and English
