Title: QA/QC Lead


Location: Paris, France (with international travel required)

Contract: 3-month renewable (mission estimated at 12 months)

Employment Type: Freelance


We're looking for a QA/QC Lead to support a globally recognised licensor on complex international projects. Based in Paris, this role involves worldwide travel for equipment inspections at supplier sites.


Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee quality assurance and control for assigned manufacturing projects
* Approve ITPs, welding books, test reports, and supplier documentation
* Conduct in-person and remote inspections, including final release (IRNs)
* Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards
* Coordinate local inspection resources and manage inspection schedules


Requirements:

* Engineering degree in materials/metallurgy or IWT/IWE certification
* 5+ years of experience in QA/QC, welding, NDT, or steel metallurgy
* Fluent in English, confident with office software tools
* Able to travel internationally on short notice (less than 1 week trips)
* EU citizenship or unrestricted travel rights within the EU
