Context of the position:

Each year, we host over 200 apprentices and interns, engaging them in the 'Intern/Internship' community with quarterly events such as onboarding days, seminars, social gatherings, access to tools, and internal support.

Through Engagement Jeunes, we will also support your future academic or career path after your internship at Seqens with additional training opportunities.

We are looking for a Process Engineer starting from September 1, 2025 for a 6-month internship.

Within the technical department, you will perform Aspen simulations of syntheses currently conducted in one of our existing workshops. You will collaborate with production and process development teams at the relevant sites.


Main Missions:

* Model distillations and batch syntheses in Aspen and verify their consistency with existing processes.
* Seek to optimize operating conditions based on these simulations.
* Develop a software tool to present key thermodynamic data of a compound.


Assets for Success:

* Student in engineering school, Master 1 or 2 (gap year or final project), specialized in chemical engineering / process engineering.
* Basic knowledge of organic chemistry.
* Curious, dynamic, and analytical.
* Fluent in English and eager to work in an international environment.
