Do you want to work at the intersection of accounting, analysis, and business understanding while holding a central role in an international environment?

We are currently seeking a Financial Controller who will take ownership of the company's statutory reporting and contribute to the further development of our accounting processes.

Key responsibilities:

- Be responsible for accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Ensure high-quality accounting and compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Collaborate with the Regional Controller on monthly reporting and consolidation matters
- Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate with Finance Service Centres and other internal teams
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors
- Monitor and analyze balance sheet items, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Review year-end closing processes, as well as tax and VAT-related matters, in collaboration with relevant functions

Qualifications:

- Higher education in accounting, auditing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an international group
- Solid experience with financial reporting and year-end closing processes
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Experience within tax and VAT areas
- Experience with SAP is an advantage, but not required

Arbeidsoppgaver:

- Ha ansvar for korrekt og tidsriktig månedlig, kvartalsvis og årlig rapportering
- Sikre kvalitet i regnskap og etterlevelse av relevante regnskapsstandarder (GAAP/IFRS)
- Samarbeide med Regional Controller om månedsrapportering og konsolideringsproblemstillinger
- Utarbeide årsregnskap og koordinere med Finance Service Centres og andre interne teams
- Være primærkontakt for ekstern revisjon
- Følge opp og analysere balanseposter, inkludert avstemminger og dokumentasjon
- Påse etterlevelse av interne retningslinjer, policies og compliance krav
- Gjennomgå årsoppgjør samt skatt- og avgiftsrelaterte prosesser i samarbeid med relevante funksjoner

Kvalifikasjoner:

- Høyere utdanning innen regnskap, revisjon eller tilsvarende
- Minimum 5 års relevant erfaring, gjerne fra internasjonalt konsern
- Solid erfaring med regnskapsrapportering og årsoppgjør
- God forståelse av regnskapsstandarder (IFRS/GAAP)
- Erfaring med skatt- og avgiftsområder (MVA)
- Erfaring med SAP er en fordel, men ikke et krav

- Gode kommunikasjonsevner, både skriftlig og muntlig på norsk og engelsk
