Software design manager

My Client is looking for a Software Design Manager.

This position requires some understanding of semiconductor design and integration and the ability to drive architectural decisions and software design for complex software systems.


Required:

* Team Management & Leadership - Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team focused on infrastructure services.


* Architecture and Design - Define and maintain the architecture for infrastructure services, ensuring scalability, performance and reusability.


* Development and Delivery - Design and implement core services, libraries, APIs, and developer tooling to support SoC assembly and integration workflows


* Act as the primary technical liaison between the Infrastructure team and other engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of solutions.


* Industry experience in the software and/or semiconductor industry with team leading experience


* Strong expertise in software programming languages such as Java, C++ or Python.


* Strong background in software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.


* Knowledge of hardware RTL design and verification languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemC, SystemVerilog) would be welcome.


* Good understanding agile development methodologies.
