The Risk Team mission is to support Allianz Trade purpose and strategy through the promotion of a risk culture, to ensure risk is managed in key decisions, projects and business with the full knowledge of the risk profile.
The main objectives for the Risk team are:
* To protect Allianz Trade brand and achieve a source of competitive advantage through better risk quantification and risk management.
* To enable business decisions and an effective risk culture through trust-based business partnerships.
* To continuously improve Allianz Trade global risk network, leadership, and technical skills as well as the interaction with the business.
* To provide an effective, independent risk oversight, comprehensive governance system, and risk control framework; and
* To efficiently meet external requirements (regulators, Allianz Trade, Allianz Group, rating agencies);
* To coordinate the production of the Solvency II reporting (QRT, ORSA, etc.)
Accountabilities and main responsibilities:
The main responsibility of the position will consist in the following:
* Support the team in driving innovation by contributing to the automation of risk governance processes
* Assist in risk management framework design and implementation on various topics (ex: Climate Change, Underwriting).
* Support the production ORSA (Own Risk & Solvency Assessment) report and other risk reports to the group or regulator
* Play a key role in fostering a strong risk culture within our companies and across various regions
* Collaborate with the Regions (Northern Europe, APAC, North Americas, MMEA, etc.) on the implementation of an efficient regional risk management framework.
* Follow, monitor and analyze all documentation related to the risk management framework and the business communicated by Allianz or Allianz Trade.
Your Profile
Experience
* Master’s degree
* Minimum of 6 months’ work experience, preferably in Financial or Risk Services in bank or insurance companies
* Knowledge of Risk management framework and processes
* Experience in Risk assessment is a plus.
* Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Skills
* Ability to read, analyze, understand, and communicate on a wide variety of documents.
* Ability to build, share synthetic views and improve reporting.
* Conscientious about quality and accuracy of work provided.
* Good coordination and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively / well-organized, both independently and as a team member.
* Full fluency in English
