Mission
Lead the commercial strategy and market expansion across Europe for next-generation spectral imaging and X-ray detection systems. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with industrial clients and OEMs, and delivering sustainable growth in key verticals such as food processing, materials sorting, and industrial automation. Your role will position the company as a trusted technology partner in the spectral detection space.
Responsibilities
Go-to-Market & Business Development
* Define and execute the sales strategy for Europe, targeting industries such as food safety, recycling, pharma, and industrial automation.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, integrators, and industrial end-users.
* Build and expand a strong network of strategic clients and channel partners across the region.
Key Account Management & Customer Engagement
* Manage the full sales cycle: from opportunity qualification and solution positioning to contract negotiation and closing.
* Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between client needs and technical capabilities.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical meetings, showcasing the impact of the technology on customer operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insights
* Work closely with product, hardware, AI, and operations teams to ensure technical alignment and support delivery.
* Provide structured market feedback and customer insights to guide product development and strategic decision-making.
* Contribute to internal reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking to support overall business goals.
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, Physics, Electronics, or other relevant technical discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or business development within machine vision, sensors, photonics, or industrial inspection.
* Familiarity with industrial sectors such as food processing, packaging, materials sorting, logistics, or manufacturing automation.
* Ability to clearly communicate technical value to both business and operational stakeholders.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter attitude, and comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
* Fluent in English (additional European languages are an advantage).
* Willingness to travel across Europe (~30%).
