Geopost Process, IT and Digital department supports the global interoperability of the group and its subsidiaries via IT processes, standards and IT solutions. Within the Process & Group IT Application Division we are providing best-in-class digital solutions and processes to our business counterparts at HQ and in the Business Units.
We are hiring for our headquarters based in Issy les Moulineaux (92) a business analyst for our BtoB Shipping solution.
DPD Shipping & Collections is a digital product supporting key business-critical steps of the parcel lifecyle. The solutions allow printing labels, managing driver collections, getting referential data both through GUI and API interfaces and covering a variety of use cases. The solutions cover multiple customer segments from private senders and SMEs to key accounts and additionally support several Group digital portfolio applications as a key dependency/enabler.
JOB OVERVIEW
As a Business Analyst, you will have a key role:
* Providing detailed analysis to support the DPD Shipping build & Run activity and contribute to a lean time to market.
* Closely working with:
* the Marketing business stakeholders and local Bus stakeholders to understand, specify and refine business requirements to deliver a refined product backlog and contribute to the DPD Shipping sprint efficiency.
* your peers within Group IT department to steer cross-functional work.
Supervision will be ensured by the DPD Shipping & Collections IT PM in an Agile methodology environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To complete successfully your mission, you will be responsible of the following tasks:
* Supporting the business (whether Group or local) in expressing and detailing business requirements. In the process, you will also identify and raise the discrepancies and issue problems, propose solutions, and support the business to adapt
* Logging and documenting business requests in Jira tickets
* Writing the documentation (functional specification)
* Identifying other digital solutions dependencies
* Partnering with dev team to assist on technical specifications (ie data structuring)
* Specifying / documenting manual, end to end and automated tests and supervising their deployment on dev and test environments. Target: 100% of processes need to be covered
Product technical environment
Languages: Java, JavaScript, Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MySQL web services (Rest API, json format), JIRA, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Google Analytics
PROFILE & SKILLS REQUIRED
You are expected to have a minimum of 5 years of successful experience as an IT Business Analyst.
Key skills:
* Fluent English is mandatory.
* Effective communication skills, written and oral, with various stakeholders (IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance, BU stakeholders, etc.)
* Team player
* Comfortable with matrix organization, ability to navigate complex environments (modular IT architecture)
* Capacity to conceptualize end to end processes
* Collaborative / team spirit
* Strong customer orientation mindset and analytical mind
* Ability to:
* Understand a process, a standard by using all resources available (specifications, requirements, business and IT stakeholders…)
* Have the necessary soft skills to interact with and adapt to all types of stakeholders (IT, business)
* Analyse data
* Anticipate collateral impacts / dependencies
* Provide recommendations based on data analysis
* Write down the documentation and presentation needed to explain, develop, and share the topics you have in charge
* Share your knowledge with the others
Not mandatory but highly appreciated skills:
* Knowledge of the transport, parcel delivery or ecommerce sectors
* Experience with critical, high availability systems
* Understanding of micro service architecture and APIs (Rest, Soap)
* High level understanding of event driven architecture (Kafka)
The mission is based at our head office in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
3 days on site, 2 days remote.
