A leading international provider of innovative wireless technology solutions for the construction sector is expanding its presence in France. With a long-standing reputation for delivering cutting-edge digital solutions across global markets, our client is now accelerating growth in France and is seeking an experienced Business Development / Country Manager.


This is a strategic and hands-on role to take ownership of sales growth in France, with a specific focus on developing key accounts in the construction industry. You will also manage all partners within France, including distribution and installation businesses, and onboarding new partners as required.


You will report into the International Sales Director (based in the UK) and will manage 1 Regional Sales Representative in Paris.


Candidates can be based anywhere in France, although regular client visits in Paris are to be expected.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a market growth strategy for France, particularly in the construction vertical
* Achieve sales targets and manage budgets & forecasts with both direct key accounts and partner accounts
* Manage and grow relationships with large construction companies (e.g. Vinci, Bouygues, Eiffage)
* Drive revenue growth across both hardware and digital (SaaS) product lines
* Lead and develop the local sales team (currently one person in France)
* Propose and establish new routes to market, including rental, subscription, aftermarket etc.
* Represent the voice of the French market internally to influence product development and strategy
* Ensure operational excellence and legal/regulatory compliance
* Maintain data-driven sales tracking and reporting via CRM and internal tools


Profile Required:

* Bilingual French / English
* Proven track record in business development within the French construction industry
* Experience selling technology, digital or industrial solutions, ideally through various models (sales, rental, subscription)
* Strong understanding of the French construction ecosystem and key stakeholders
* Experience in opening new markets and building brand awareness where the product is not mandated
* Entrepreneurial, proactive, and capable of working autonomously
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen
* Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Remuneration: 60K€ basic + 20K€ OTE (uncapped commission with accelerators for over achievement)+ 662€ per month car allowance
