Poste : Responsable de la Préparation Physique Département : Performance Support Team Encadrement direct : 2 préparateurs physiques Missions En tant que Responsable de la Préparation Physique, vous dirigez l’équipe de préparation physique afin de mettre en œuvre des programmes de haute performance, développant des joueurs capables de s’entraîner intensément, de récupérer rapidement, de rivaliser physiquement avec les meilleurs et de répéter les exigences d’un calendrier compétitif. Vous interviendrez sur le terrain et en salle, en combinant expertise scientifique, exigence opérationnelle et compréhension fine du jeu. Profil recherché Diplômes reconnus en sciences du sport, préparation physique et force et condition physique, complétés par un diplôme universitaire supérieur en sciences du sport ou discipline associée. Expérience de 8 ans minimum dans un environnement de sport de haut niveau, spécifiquement en football et idéalement dans un cadre de classe mondiale au-delà du football. Un leadership par l’exemple, capable d’influencer et de fédérer autour d’une vision commune. Exigeant sur les standards, sachant identifier les principes non négociables nécessaires à la réalisation de nos ambitions. Expérience avérée dans la conception et l’exécution de solutions innovantes mais pratiques en environnement de haute performance, avec une compréhension contextuelle forte du football. À l’aise sur l’ensemble des domaines de la performance physique: développement athlétique, périodisation sur et hors terrain, prévention des blessures, retour au jeu, récupération, suivi de la charge et profilage des joueurs. Intègre, honnête et collaboratif, capable d’engager avec des interlocuteurs variés et de favoriser une approche interdisciplinaire « we not me ». This role is a replacement and evolution of a previous role that gives us the best chance of sustainable success and is a key appointment in establishing best in class physical preparation support that will evolve to be the envy of other teams in the league. About the Role The role is to lead the physical performance team to deliver physical performance programmes creating players who can train intensely, recovery quickly, compete physically with the best and repeat the demands of the competition schedule. The role will deliver physical programmes on a group and individual level having a high aptitude and understanding of the requirements of football and the ability to deliver at a world class level both on the pitch and in the gym. Your Skills, Experiences and Personal Traits The successful candidate will have industry recognised qualifications in a combination of sports science, physical preparation and strength and conditioning along with a higher-level degree in sports science or related discipline. Additionally, the successful candidate will have 8 or more years' experience in an elite high-performance sport environment, specifically in football and ideally with experience in a world class environment beyond football. We are looking for a high performer in their field who will role model behaviours to create followship, and look to lead through influence. Will create a safe space for all to step up, and speak up and be able to articulate a consistent and aligned philosophy and vision. Someone who is a stickler for standards, recognising which ones are non-negotiable in the quest for us to achieve our ambitions. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience delivering innovative but practical solutions in elite sporting environments and High-Performance programme delivery with elite athletes. Football/contextual understanding is essential but will equally be comfortable across all realms of physical performance including performance development, periodisation on and off pitch, injury prevention, return to play, recovery, monitoring and profiling.
