Cristóbal Balenciaga fonde sa Maison en 1917 dans son pays natal, l'Espagne. En 1937, il établit sa marque à Paris et y conçoit ses collections jusqu'en 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga, en tant que Couturier, proposait une création exigeante et avait la réputation de ne faire aucun compromis ce qui lui valut d'être désigné par Christian Dior comme « le maître à tous » et comme « le couturier des couturiers » par Gabrielle Chanel. Les formes ultra-modernes sont devenues la signature de la Maison.

Si l'identité de la Maison est avant tout ancrée dans son prêt-à-porter conceptuel, ses collections de maroquinerie, chaussures et autres accessoires connaissent également un succès mondial. Les sacs de la Maison sont d'ailleurs devenus des icônes de la maroquinerie d'aujourd'hui. Lancées pour l'Été 2017, les collections prêt-à-porter Homme Balenciaga ont rapidement été couronnées de succès à l'international.

Depuis octobre 2015, Demna est directeur artistique et conçoit l'ensemble des collections de la Maison.

Your Opportunity

In this role you will BE responsible of supporting the execution and maintenance of global Brand VM standards and guidelines across the European Retail Network. With a focus on France and Germany.

How you will contribute
- Manage the implementation of the VM guidelines within the Stores;
- Liaise between the VM Team and the Store teams for any VM and corporate communication;
- Conduct store visits and travel between stores to execute guidelines, manage seasonal and product launches and provide VM training for store teams and VM contacts;
- Design and deliver to the store teams, the VM supports, guidelines and VM projects for the Boutiques, Department Stores and Outlets;
- Provide support to all the network remotely, giving guidance and feedback, ensuring the correct execution of the VM guidelines;
- Deliver an individualized training to the VM contacts.
- Monthly and weekly monitoring of the VM implementation across the network
- Facilitate the communication between corporate and store concerning VM topics;
- Organize the photo archive and deliver VM reports;
- Manage and handle VM Tools (maintenance and upgrade)
- Support new store openings across Europe, special events setups and VM installations

Who You Are
- 4-6 years of VM experience in retail environment (at head office/store level) with an international exposure
- Strong VM skills and aesthetic sensibility;
- Willing to frequently travel across Europe.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Applications, Photoshop and Indesign;
- Strong business acumen;
- Task and detail oriented, meticulous attention to details and discreet
- Fluent written and spoken in English;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Degree in fashion related discipline is preferred, but not mandatory.
